ISOCYANATE

Understanding Toluene Diisocyanate (TDI)

Toluene Diisocyanate (TDI) is a versatile difunctional isocyanate commonly used in flexible foam applications. With an 80:20 mixture of 2,4 and 2,6 isomers, it finds extensive use in automotive seating, furniture cushioning, and specialty foam products. TDI also serves as a reactive intermediate in coatings, adhesives, sealants, and prepolymers, offering flexibility and wide-ranging foam grades.

ISOCYANATE (TDI)

TDI is an 80:20 mixture of 2, 4 and 2, 6 isomers of toluene diisocyanate (TDI), difunctional isocyanate widely used in flexible foam application. This may be applied to automotive seating, furniture cushioning, mattress cushioning and specialty foam applications.
It is also used as a reactive intermediate in coatings, adhesives, sealants and prepolymers applications. It processes well on all type of foam machinery and can be used with or without auxiliary blowing agents to produce a wide range of foam grades ranging from low to high density
